I am still smiling- it is the afterglow of the first time. I was really embarassed at first, wasn't sure what to do with my hands or my body, and then everything felt SO Natural, and the sound was all around...I am sure the neighbours could hear. Yes, Yes, Yes, OH YES!!!! My first Live Performance with League of Rock, I will remember it always...it was like Heaven, Silicone Heaven. League of Rock has been doing something amazing for me.
They are helping me regain my self confidence so I can be, everything that I was intended to be. And confidence is very important, no matter what you do in life, you need confidence.
I have always loved singing, I was singing before I could talk. When I first got my real estate license at 18, I was known as the agent that loved to sing and some people, even my Brokers David and Kelly, thought I was pretty good at it.
I can't go back and change things in my life that occured, there is no rewind button to press.I still believe that everything happens for a reason, so I am not gonna be a Debby Downer and focus on past health problems and car accidents.
What I have is the here and now...and I am so happy, I can't stand it! League of Rock is such an outlet for me, it is making me a better Realtor, a more interesting friend and a much nicer Daughter, just ask my Mom, she saw my face when I came home tonight....I can't describe what it feels like to be "Bitten" again. At the tender age of 2 is when it all started, I had seen Engelbert and Tom Jones on TV and knew that I wanted to be a performer and I have had this mad passion for music and acting my entire life and finally- Finally, I have people I can do it with and DUET with.
I am so greatful to Terry Moshenberg for making it possible for me to live out a dream and yes...I got home late but I wasn't about to not get my steps in for Newtopia.....7000 plus.....I am being a VERY good girl...so if you've ever been bitten in your life, here is what JAB League of Rock is all about...I, umm, totally stole their LOGO for this BLOG "spot" please don't sue me, I have no money, I am a musician.....: ) Well, at least I felt like one tonight. Thank you to everyone....tommorow I will fill you in on our WORLD CLASS COACHES...
